RICHARD LOUPRASONG

Richard Louprasong is a Lao-American filmmaker and creative based in Los Angeles, working across film, social media, and digital advertising. He’s known for his award-winning short films The Cruise, It Heads Home, and Peek a Boo, and also worked as a segment editor on the indie horror anthology Scare Package.

A Minnesota native, Richard draws deeply from his experience growing up queer and Asian in the Midwest. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to pursue his passion for storytelling - creating work that reflects both the Asian American and LGBTQ+ experience. He’s dedicated to making space for more Asian, and queer voices in film and media.
